Mark is a freelance photographer basedin Cardiff, U.K. He graduated in 2013 with a degree in photojournalism from theuniversity of Wales/ Trinity St David and is currently studying for an MA indocumentary photography. His work has been widely featured andexhibited throughout the world including London’s Mall galleries and theDNG gallery in Los Angeles. He has been selected for a number of awards and bursaries,more notably he was selected as one of the winners at the Antiparos photofestival for his acclaimed work ‘A swim into the wild’ and received a winningplacement in the professional photo essay category at the Moscow internationalphotography awards for his work documenting children affected by the Chernobyldisaster. His most recent completed body of work is represented by Instituteartist. He receives regular commissions for Channel 4, The TelegraphMagazine, The Smith Journal, The Guardian, The Financial Times, Vice and TheBBC among others. He visually investigates a broad of topics rangingfrom social, environmental, historical and political narratives in order tounderstand the complexities of these stories and educate himself and othersabout the importance of documenting matters close to his heart.
